Shawano is the latest school district to switch to all online classes.
District Administrator Randi Anderson says the coronavirus numbers in Shawano County continue to go in the wrong direction. She says they’re at a breaking point with their staff, and they won’t have in-person classes until at least October 9th.
Anderson called on the community to help prevent the spread, so students and staff can return to their buildings.
Students won’t have classes on Monday, so teachers can prepare for the change. Online classes will start Tuesday.
Hillcrest Primary School had to close today and Friday, because there wasn’t enough staff available.
