Black Stone Cherry released the official lyric video for their new song “Ringin’ In My Head”. The track is off the band’s upcoming seventh studio album, The Human Condition, available on October 30th. The band said they originally started writing “Ringin’ In My Head” back in 2017.
“For whatever reason, it didn’t make the album at the time, but we loved the riff and melody. Fast forward to 2020, we were in the studio recording The Human Condition and we decided to revisit the song and rework it a bit. It’s eerie that it fits into the current state of the world so well right now. It’s almost like the song knew when it should have been recorded and released, and we find beauty in that.”
Black Stone Cherry announced their new album at the beginning of August and said that The Human Condition will be available on Red Transparent vinyl, limited edition CD boxset, and digital format. The also added that the album was completed just days before the COVID-19 lockdown was imposed and that even though the album was written before the pandemic started, they say they lyrics are eerily prescient. When they announced the album, they also released the music video for the first song off of it, “Again”. That video can be seen below.
