Pantera’s Reinventing The Steel: 20th Anniversary Edition will come out on October 30th as a three-CD set that includes a remastered version of the original album, a selection of rarities, and will have a new album cover. Terry Date, who produced Cowboys From Hell (1990), Vulgar Display Of Power (1992), Far Beyond Driven (1994), and The Great Southen Trendkill (1996) has created a new mix for the album. Date’s mixes for “Revolution Is My Name”, “Death Rattle”, and “We’ll Grind That Axe For A Long Time” are available now and can be heard below.
The album will also include the radio edits for “Revolution Is My Name”, “Goddamn Electric” and their cover of Black Sabbath’s “Electric Funeral” and “Hole In The Sky”, Ted Nugent’s “Cat Scratch Fever”, and their soundtrack contributions “Avoid The Light”, and “Immortally Insane”. It also includes previously unreleased instrumental rough mixes for every album track.
