Nickelback had been teasing a special announcement on August 14th, and it turns out the surprise ended up being Nickelback hooking up with Canadian fusion guitarist Dave Martone to cover The Charlie Daniels Band classic “The Devil Went Down To Georgia”, which can be heard below.
Nickelback will also be releasing All The Right Reasons: 15th Anniversary Expanded Edition on October 2nd as a two-CD set and will also be available digitally on all streaming platforms. The album will feature a newly remastered version of the original 2005 album, a selection of B-sides and a 2006 live concert recording.

Last month, Korn released its own cover of “The Devil Went Down To Georgia”, featuring a guest appearance by rapper YelaWolf.
Charlie Daniels died on July 6th at the age of 83, and last month Korn released their cover of “The Devil Went Down To Georgia”, featuring rapper YelaWolf, which can be heard below.
