Mastodon, Lamb Of God, Animals As Leaders, Weezer and more will be featured on the upcoming soundtrack for Bill & Ted Face The Music. The soundtrack comes out on the same day as the movie, August 28th. Weezer’s “Beginning of the End” (Wyld Stallyns edit) is the first song off the the album to be released and can be heard below.

The movie reunites Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves, as Bill and Ted. The film takes place about 30 years from where the duo left off and sees Bill and Ted yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny. The are now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends – to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.
