Metallica has shared a video of the band back together and rehearsing on their Instagram stories . All four members are at their headquarters in San Rafael, California wearing facemasks and playing the intro to “Creeping Death”.
There is no word yet on if the band is rehearsing for a specific event or if they are preparing for a recording session.
Early this year, Lars Ulrich said that if quarantine continued that there is a “good chance” that Metallica would be making some new music.
In the meantime, Metallica has been releasing videos for the songs off of their upcoming album, S&M2 which will be available on August 28th. There latest release is the video of “Moth Into Flame” with the San Francisco Symphony, which can be seen below.
