Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has two new songs coming out this week. Taylor will release “Black Eyes Blue” and “CMFT Must Be Stopped” on Wednesday, July 29th. “CMFT Must Be Stopped” features rappers Tech N9ne and Kid Bookie. Both rappers have collaborated with Taylor in the past.
Taylor guested on Tech N9ne‘s 2015 track “Wither“. Taylor hooked up with Kid Bookie in 2019 for the song “Stuck In My Ways“, following a Twitter conversation between the pair.
Taylor’s new solo album is expected to be released in September. Guitarist Christian Martucci of Stone Sour, guitarist Zach Throne, bassist Jason Christopher from Prong, and Walls Of Jericho drummer Dustin Schoenhofer served as Taylor‘s backing band in the studio.
