Body Count released an animated music video for their latest song, “Thee Critical Beatdown”. The song is off the seventh studio album, Carnivore, from the Ice-T fronted band. The animation for the video was created by Tommy The Animator, who also created a music video for the song Body Count’s “The Ski Mask Way”.
Ice-T describes “Thee Critical Beatdown” as a grindhouse-style stupid fun song. He says it’s really him yelling at somebody on the internet or calling out someone who sends texts “talking shit” but doesn’t want to meet. He added that is it a good old rumble song.
Carnivore was released in March and features a slew of guest musicians including Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer), Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) and Riley Gale (Power Trip). It will also feature a vocal performance from Amy Lee of Evanescence on a song called “When I’m Gone.” In February they released the video for “Bum Rush”, which can be seen below.
