After a few teasers yesterday, Seether have released another new song from their upcoming album Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum which translates to “If You Want Peace, Prepare For War.” The album is set for release on August 28th.
At the end of June, Seether released “Dangerous”, the first single off of their forthcoming eighth studio album. The animated official music video for “Dangerous” can be seen below.
Cutter had a chance to talk with Seether drummer, John Humprey, in the latest episode of Cutter’s Rockcast, which can be heard below. They had plenty to talk about with the new music that the band has released, the upcoming album, and adding Corey Lowery as a full member of the band.
Guitarist/vocalist Shaun Morgan produced Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum and the new album was engineered and mixed by Matt Hyde (Deftones, AFI) in Nashville from December 2019 through January 2020. Morgan’s friend of 16 years, Corey Lowery also assistant-engineered the album. Lowery, who just joined the band, is the ex-guitarist/vocalist for Saint Asonia and Stuck Mojo.
