A federal bankruptcy judge will let the owners of the Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh keep money they received from the federal Small Business Administration.
Fox Valley Pro Basketball President Gregory Pierce got a $150,000 Economic Injury Disaster Loan, without getting court approval to take on more debt. Judge Beth Hanan decided it was OK, because the owners weren’t trying to deceive creditors.
Fox Valley is also getting $475,000 in financing from a company called “GL 2020.” It was created by a law firm in Grafton, just days before the motion to get more credit was filed. That debt will be repaid with TIF money Fox Valley gets from the city of Oshkosh.
