The Oshkosh Common Council denies a special event permit for a Christian music festival next month.
Calvary Son Rise proposed holding an event with speakers and bands at the Leach Amphitheater on August 28th. Organizer Mike Braun tried to argue it would be good for the city. He told council members the event would bring a breath of fresh life to the community. The council rejected the event permit application, saying it would be difficult to enforce social distancing at the Leach.
