Badflower said they miss playing shows live, so they are going to hold streaming festival and will be joined by Dead Sara, Bones UK and Dead Poet Society. Three of the Badflower band members have a birthday this month including singer Josh Katz who will be turning 30 on July 18th, so on that date, they will celebrate with the “So Happy I’m Thirty Festival” or also known as “S.H.I.T. Fest”.

Tickets for “S.H.I.T. Fest” start at $9 and go up to $30 for a bundle that comes with one of the concert shirts made to celebrate the event. Proceeds from the show will be going to two organizations, 320 Changes Direction and Freedom for Immigrants. Both charities were handpicked by the band.
Badflower also announced that they will release their new single “30” to coincide with the streaming event. “S.H.I.T. Fest” starts at 3pm CT on Saturday, July 18th, with tickets available here.
Badflower was scheduled to be on tour with Incubus and 311 this summer but those shows were canceled due to COVID-19.
While working on their new album in quarantine, the band took a little break and recorded a cover of Gerry Rafferty’s “Right Down the Line” “for absolutely no reason at all.” Their recording of the song can be seen below.
