Underoath announced a new livestream performance series that they are calling “Observatory”. During the livestream concerts they will play their albums Lost In The Sound Of Separation, Define The Great Line and They’re Only Chasing Safety in their entirety.
“We’ve been figuring out how we could do this for awhile now and are extremely pumped to be able to announce Observatory.
We’re playing live again and DANG does that sound good right about now. We’re doing live streamed, full album play-through shows of Lost In The Sound of Separation, Define the Great Line AND They’re Only Chasing Safety.
ALSO, we’ve heard you and we’re finally doing it; Each of those albums are having a vinyl repress.
This is special to us. We can’t have you all in the same room with us, but we’re working to have it be as interactive as possible. More details are coming. Let’s do it.“
The shows will take place throughout the rest of July. Underoath has scheduled Lost In The Sound Of Separation to be preformed on July 17th, Define The Great Line will be played on July 24th and They’re Only Chasing Safety will close out the series on July 31st.
Along with the shows, they announced that a limited edition vinyl pressing for each album will be available as well. Tickets for the each show starts at $15 and up to $70 for a “Platinum” ticket. Access to all three shows costs $140. Tickets for the show and information about the special vinyl pressings can be found at underoathobservatory.com.
