Another Monday means another Monday Mandatory Metallica Concert Series. This time, we head back to May 2nd, 1999 when Metallica was at Parque Simón Bolívar in Bogotá, Colombia. This show marks the first time that the band had every played in Colombia.
This concert features James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and former bassist Jason Newsted. Metallica was touring in support of their Load and Reload albums, however only a few of the songs played came off of those albums, the rest of the concert featured the band’s earlier work.
