Bring Me The Horizon have been teasing us with their from their (home) studio videos for months and today we finally have a taste of new music. The song is called “Parasite Eve” and singer Oli Sykes told Kerrang! Magazine:
“Parasite Eve came from an idea to write a survival horror song, but as the pandemic started to develop, the parallels were so similar it felt so close to the bone we decided to shelve it. As time went on, we started to feel how relevant it was and that instead of shying from it, that we should address the dark side, embrace it and process what’s going on… Parasite Eve is our message of hope, wrapped in sadness and anger.”
Oli also confirmed that this song along with the song “Ludens” from the Death Stranding video game will part of a new album that will have the same feel. In fact the creative spark must have hit flames while writing and recording because there will be four new Bring Me The Horizon Albums all sharing the name Post Human.
