Papa Roach has released a 2020 version of their song “Tightrope”, originally off their album Infest which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The updated version can be heard below.
To honor the 20th anniversary of Infest, Papa Roach also held a live stream on Saturday called Infest In-Studio where the band played the album live in its entirety. The show was a paid virtual ticketed event that brought in 1.8 million live viewers on Twitter, Facebook, Twitch, YouTube and VK.
Infest, which has sold over three million copies in the U.S., also features Papa Roach classics “Last Resort”, “Broken Home”, “Blood Brothers”, and “Between Angels & Insects”.
Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix talked with Singapore’s LAMC Productions and said that the band was been doing a lot of songwriting during their quarantine.
“We have probably about 10 songs written at this point, and we are going to write some more music as we’re home. And we’re gonna drop an album probably early next year. And that’s really exciting for us. We just signed a new record deal, which is very exciting for us as well.”
This will be Papa Roach’s eleventh studio album and the follow-up to Who Do you Trust?, which was released in 2019.
