The state is reporting 4.6 percent of new COVID-19 tests were positive.
That’s an increase for the second straight day, and the highest total since 5.3 percent came back positive on May 30th. Yesterday’s figure was 3.8 percent, and Friday’s was 2.5 percent.
There are 280 new confirmed cases in Wisconsin, and 24,819 overall.
The state now has 4,761 active cases, and that’s 79 fewer than yesterday. Seventy-eight percent of confirmed cases have recovered, and that’s up one percent.
Hospitals are treating 242 coronavirus patients, and another 153 are waiting for test results.
After two straight days of double-digit deaths, no one died from COVID-19 over the past day. There have been 744 deaths in Wisconsin. The last time there were no new confirmed deaths was June 8th.
Two counties each have nine more cases. Brown is up to 2,580 and Outagamie 396.
Winnebago added eight, and now has 601.
Manitowoc has five new cases, and 68 overall.
Fond du Lac has four more, and is up to 290.
Two counties each added two cases. Calumet is at 92, and Waupaca 91.
Kewaunee has one new case, and a total of 44.
