States that lifted their safer at home orders shortly before Wisconsin are seeing increases in COVID-19 cases again. Texas, Arizona and Florida are among those with numbers approaching the initial wave in March. Wisconsin’s Chief Medical Officer Ryan Westergaard hopes that is not our fate here. Westergaard adds that strict adherence to social distancing standards and wearing masks in public will go a long way to prevent a second wave of coronavirus in Wisconsin.
