A doctor that specializes in hearing loss and a dress maker in Oshkosh are teaming up to make masks with clear, vinyl windows so a person’s mouth is visible.
Katie Armatoski is a doctor of audiology with the Audiology and Hearing Aid Center. She asked Alban Limited owner Dave Alban to make the masks for her and her patients. Armatoski says it made such a difference she asked Alban to make make more for people in nursing homes and for other front-line workers. The pair created a Go Fund Me campaign and hopes to raise $1,500 to make about 150 more masks.
