The pandemic is delaying the start of a major expansion at the EAA Aviation Museum in Oshkosh.
Chair Jack Pelton says they were ready to break ground on a 30,000 square foot, two-story addition in May, but they decided to delay it, because of the pandemic.
The first floor of the expansion would feature a dozen flight simulators for pilot training, and the second floor would include hands-on building activities for kids.
Pelton adds the EAA is still in the fundraising stage for the project.
There’s no new timeline for the start of construction yet.
