The head of the state Department of Health Services says they’ll rely on contact tracing to try to prevent the spread of coronavirus during protests.
Secretary Andrea Palm understands people must speak out against racism, and the health disparities it causes. She says a lack of social distancing can lead to the spread of the disease, so protesters should make sure they’re keeping six feet apart.
She’s urging them to also wear masks, and wash their hands as often as possible.
