The percentage of new positive COVID-19 tests went down slightly, while the number of overall test results bounced back.
The state reports 3.6 percent came back positive, and that’s down from 3.9 percent yesterday. Sunday’s total was 2.3 percent, and it was 5.3 percent last Friday and Saturday.
There are now 18,917 confirmed coronavirus cases in Wisconsin. That’s 374 more than yesterday.
There have been 607 confirmed deaths in the state, and that’s 12 more. The statewide death rate for confirmed cases remains at three percent.
The state received results on 10,522 tests, up from 3,632 yesterday. The average over the past week had been around 10,000.
Winnebago County has 22 new cases, for a total of 270. Brown County has 14 more, and 2,334 overall.
Waupaca added three, and now has 45.
Two counties have two new cases. Outagamie is up to 232, and Shawano 50.
Three counties each added one. Fond du Lac is now at 215, Calumet 78, and Oconto 38.
The statewide hospitalization rate for confirmed cases is 14 percent.
Sixty-four percent of confirmed cases in Wisconsin have recovered.
