The percentage of new positive COVID-19 tests stayed the same as yesterday, at 5.3 percent.
Thursday’s total was 4.8 percent and Wednesday’s was 5.7 percent.
There are now 18,230 confirmed coronavirus cases in Wisconsin. That’s 523 more than yesterday.
The number of new test results (9,843) fell sharply from yesterday’s record high of 13,602.
There have been 588 confirmed deaths in the state. That’s 20 more than yesterday. It’s the fourth straight day of double-digit deaths. Over that time, 71 people have died.
Winnebago County has 14 new cases, and 238 overall.
Three counties added 10. Brown is up to 2,318, Outagamie 223, and Waupaca 39.
Fond du Lac has nine more, for a total of 203.
Oconto added two, and now has 37.
Two counties each have one new case. Calumet now has 76, and Green Lake 19.
The statewide hospitalization rate is 14 percent.
Sixty-two percent of confirmed cases have recovered in Wisconsin. That’s up one percent.
