The public health officer in Appleton doesn’t like the coronavirus trends since the state’s “safer at home” order was thrown out.
Kurt Eggebrecht says they’re going in the wrong direction right now. He says he looks at a variety of factors, including hospital admissions, and ICU bed capacities.
Appleton is reporting three more COVID-19 cases. Two got it from another known case, and the third was from community spread.
The city now has 99 confirmed cases. Fifty-nine are in isolation, and 37 have recovered.
