Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is taking its distribution program directly to people in need.
Usually, the group collects food for pantries to hand out across the region, but during the pandemic workers set up drive-thru distribution programs.
Donor Relations Director Liz Wollenberg says it’s a more efficient way to deal with the growing demand for fresh food. They’re also helping farmers by getting their crops.
Feeding America holds a weekly drive-thru food pantry at Fox Valley Technical College in Grand Chute, It’s on Thursdays from 10 a.m. until noon. It’s first come, first served.
