Oshkosh’s American Legion post held a special brat fry on Memorial Day.
Mike Bennett of the Sons of the American Legion says it was a fundraiser for their plans to bring a smaller version of the Vietnam War Memorial wall to Oshkosh. He says they hope to have the wall in the city in October.
It costs about $10,000 to host it, and the Legion post has been doing that every four years.
People were able to pull into the post’s parking lot and get brats, without leaving their cars.
