People could get help paying their rent, if they lost income during the pandemic.
Governor Evers wants to put $25 million toward the program.
A person has to be at or below 80 percent of the county median income to qualify. Up to $3,000 will be available for rent and security deposits.
The money will go directly to the landlord.
