Oshkosh restaurant and bar owners will be able to get a temporary permit to expand outdoor seating.
City Manager Mark Rohloff thinks it will be a way for them to open safely. He says social distancing rules force businesses to lose capacity and revenue. The permit will allow businesses to expand seating area outside of their current building, decks and patios and set up picnic tables, tents or temporary bars. Rohloff says there’s no fee for the permit. He hopes it will help businesses through the summer.
