ThedaCare is taking part in a plasma trial that gives patients coronavirus antibodies from recovered people.
Infections disease expert Dr. David Brooks says two patients have received plasma so far. He says anitbodies are something the immune system makes to fight off different viruses and bacterial infections.
Brooks is excited about the treatment. He calls it additional ammunition to fight COVID-19.
