Brown County’s public health officer is issuing a local order, keeping the previous statewide “safer at home” rules in place, until May 20th.
Anna Destree issued a statement, saying she must take reasonable and necessary local actions. She believes it would be irresponsible to not take action, given the high number of positive cases found in the county.
The order covers all communities in Brown County.
Brown County has 1,982 confirmed coronavirus cases, the second most in the state.
