Ice Nine Kills is celebrating both the 40th anniversary of Friday The 13th and honoring Fountain’s of Wayne’s late bassist and songwriter Adam Schlesinger in the made at-home parody video, of “Stacy’s Mom”. The band added a touch of the macabre to the Fountains of Wayne hit creating “Jason’s Mom.”
Ice Nine Kills premiered the video on Sunday as part of their label’s nearly four-hour Fearless at Home live-stream, starting their segment with a conversation between frontman Spencer Charnas and Ari Lehman, who played Jason in the the original Friday the 13th movie. The entire Fearless at Home live-stream can be seen below.
Ice Nine Kills is scheduled to be at the AllState Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on November 5th with Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, and I Prevail.
