Governor Evers says it’s possible more businesses could reopen before the end of his “safer at home” order on May 26th.
He let small standalone retailers and shops in strip malls open their doors yesterday. He says some large stores, bars and restaurants, arts and entertainment and tourism attractions are the main ones that are still closed.
Evers believes the state is in much better shape with more testing and contact tracing. Small retail shops can only have up to five customers in the store at a time, and people have to follow social distancing guidelines.
