The state is reporting an increase in the daily percentage of new positive COVID-19 tests.
Seven-point-eight percent came back positive. That’s up from yesterday’s figure of 6.9 percent. Friday’s was 8.1 percent.
There are now 10,219 confirmed coronavirus cases in the state. That’s up three percent from yesterday’s total of 9,939.
There have been 400 confirmed deaths in Wisconsin. That’s two more than yesterday.
Calumet County is reporting its first death.
Brown County has 63 new cases, for a total of 1,897.
Fond du Lac added seven, and has 93 overall. Calumet has five more for a total of 40.
Shawano added two, and now has 22.
Three counties each have one more. Outagamie is at 112, Kewaunee 29, and Green Lake 8.
There’s one fewer confirmed cases in Oconto, for a total of 27.
The statewide hospitalization rate for confirmed cases is 18 percent. Forty-nine percent of confirmed cases have recovered.
