The percentage of coronavirus test results that came back positive over the past day went down for the third straight day.
Seven-point-nine percent were positive. The figure was 8.6 percent yesterday. Governor Evers wants to see that percentage decline for 14 consecutive days.
The state is reporting 8,901 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin. That’s up four percent from yesterday’s total of 8,566.
There have been 362 confirmed deaths, and that’s nine more than yesterday.
Brown County has 108 new cases, for a total of 1,653.
Fond du Lac added eight, and now has 83.
Outagamie has five more, and 83 overall.
Two counties each have three new cases. Kewaunee is at 25, and Oconto 23.
Winnebago added two, for 85. Manitowoc has one more, and 17 overall.
The statewide hospitalization rate is 19 percent. Forty-nine percent of confirmed cases have recovered.
