Appleton’s health department is reporting eight new confirmed COVID-19 cases since last Friday.
That brings the total in the city to 38.
Six of the new cases caught it from a contact with the virus. The other two are from community spread.
Twenty-seven people are in isolation, 10 have recovered, and one died.
