A medical expert is concerned about letting people travel from county to county within Wisconsin.
Some are calling for businesses to reopen on a regional basis, in areas without as many confirmed cases.
Dr. Ashok Rai is the president of Prevea Health. He tells Action 2 News even if some counties have small numbers of confirmed cases, it doesn’t mean COVID-19 isn’t there. He says things can change quickly, and cases can balloon.
Rai points to a town in Texas that didn’t have many cases and reopened. He says one person in a nursing home caught coronavirus, and infected 65 others. He says that outbreak kept growing.
