The Community Blood Center in Grand Chute collected its first plasma donation from a recovered coronavirus patient this week.
Dr. Todd Straus says Gregg Bartel of Malone was happy to help others suffering from the virus.
Bartel was diagnosed about six weeks ago. Straus says Bartel has been symptom-free for 28 days.
Straus hopes other recovered patients will reach out to the Community Blood Center to donate plasma.
