A longtime advocate for victims of domestic abuse got a parade for a sendoff this afternoon.
Today was the last day for Harbor House Executive Director Beth Schnorr. More than 30 cars drove by the group’s shelter in Appleton, while Schnorr stood outside.
Schnorr says it was mostly co-workers, volunteers, former staff members, family and friends. She describes it as the best sendoff she could ask for, with people decorating their cars in purple. She says it was great to see so many faces.
Schnorr is retiring, after 30 years with Harbor House.
