A man spent 20 days at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay, after catching coronavirus.
Ken Holmes spent some time in intensive care, and he’s now home. The 64-year-old Green Bay man says he fought to get back to his family.
He woke up with symptoms at the beginning of the month. He described having a cold, and then not being able to breathe.
Holmes says he followed the rules, and only left his house to buy groceries.
He stresses it’s much better to stay at home, than to be in a hospital bed, alone, hooked up to machines.
Holmes is crediting the nurses and doctors at St. Mary’s.
