For the past 40 years, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has been helping sick children around the world.
The Wisconsin chapter was founded 36 years ago.
Regional Director Kris Teofilo says it’s disappointing they can’t hold a big celebration for the anniversary. She’s asking for donations, so they can grant wishes, as soon as it’s safe.
More than 430 wishes are pending statewide, and some are for children from northeast Wisconsin.
