The pandemic is forcing the Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity to hold off on building homes.
President John Weyenberg says they’re pledging to help 17 approved families, but the timeline of their projects will be longer.
He says current Habitat homeowners are reaching out to let him know they’re grateful they have a safe place to call home, especially during this time. He calls it motivation for the organization to do more.
Weyenberg says they’re working with current homeowners, and approved ones, if they lost their job because of the pandemic.
