The state is reporting 5,687 confirmed coronavirus cases in Wisconsin.
That’s a six percent increase from yesterday’s total of 5,356.
There have been 266 confirmed deaths. That’s four more than yesterday.
Twelve percent of tests over the past day came back positive. The percentage had dropped over the past two days, and was nine percent yesterday.
One of the benchmarks of Governor Evers to scale back social distancing guidelines is to have 14 straight days of declines in that percentage.
Brown County has 115 new confirmed cases, for a total of 720.
Winnebago added two more, and now has 48 total.
Two counties had one new case. Kewaunee is up to 10, and Oconto has 6.
The totals for all of the other local counties stayed the same.
The state is now reporting the number of recovered cases. The total is 2,665 people, or 47 percent of confirmed cases.
The statewide hospitalization rate for confirmed cases is 24 percent.
