There are now 5,356 confirmed coronavirus cases in Wisconsin.
That’s a six percent increase from yesterday’s total of 5,052.
The number of confirmed deaths in Wisconsin is now 262, and that’s five more than yesterday.
Nine percent of all tests over the past day came back positive, and that’s the second straight day of decline. Governor Evers is calling for 14 straight days of declines in that percentage, before social distancing guidelines can be scaled back.
There are 150 new cases in Brown County alone for a total of 605 overall in the county.
Outagamie County has three more cases and 43 overall. There are two more cases each in Manitowoc, for nine, and Shawano, for eight.
Three counties have one more case. Fond du Lac now has 67 overall, Calumet seven, and Waupaca seven.
Kewaunee has one fewer case, for nine.
All of the other local counties have the same number of cases.
The statewide hospitalization rate for confirmed cases in Wisconsin is 25 percent.
