Grocery shoppers apparently aren’t hoarding anymore.
The operations manager for the Stoneridge Piggly Wiggly Stores in the Fox Valley thinks customers were frustrated at the beginning of the pandemic.
Brian Hilley tells Dave Edwards on AM Fox Valley that they’re able to keep more things on their shelves. He says they’re also getting more canned food.
Hilley believes the shutdown of some meat plants, because of coronavirus outbreaks, will cause the price of pork and beef to go up.
