Governor Evers says the idea of large events happening anytime soon “is probably not in the cards.”
But Evers says the state will follow the science, and if it becomes reasonable to allow them, then it would be reasonable to hold them.
He adds there’s a reason organizers of events in June and July are already cancelling.
The governor doesn’t want large groups to lead to a spike in cases.
Under the governor’s “safer at home” order, no more than 10 people are allowed in a room, and they need to be six feet away from each other.
