Evanescence announced on Twitter that their new album will be called The Bitter Truth and that they will release a new single “Wasted On You” next Friday, April 24th. They said:
“We promised you a new album in 2020 and we won’t let anything stop us. We are proud to begin sharing our new album The Bitter Truth with you, one piece at a time, starting with our first song ‘Wasted On You’ next Friday!”

In January, Evanescence released the video for their cover of the Fleetwood Mac classic “The Chain”, and can be seen below. The video features footage from the video game Gears of War 5 and is on the official soundtrack for the game.
