Local health care providers are partnering with community groups and local governments to urge people to continue to follow social distancing guidelines.
Dr. Imran Andrabi is the president of ThedaCare, and he says they’re launching a “Be Safe Wisconsin” campaign. He says people in Wisconsin have done a phenomenal job of socially distancing themselves, and they’ve been able to flatten the curve.
Andrabi is encouraging people to continue to do that, and take steps to protect themselves, by washing their hands, not touching their face, and wearing a mask if they go out.
The organizations created a website where people can get information on COVID-19.
The initial members of Be Safe Wisconsin are Ascension Wisconsin, Bergstrom Automotive, Calumet County Public Health, City of Oshkosh, City of Neenah, Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, Outagamie County, ThedaCare, United Way Fox Cities and Winnebago County.
