The game follows the release of the band’s video for “Save Me”, which came out on April 3rd. According to Skillet frontman John Cooper:
“This song is about the darker side of you that you are afraid to show people. ‘If they only knew how messed up I am, would they still love me?’ This song is about getting honest and asking for help, both spiritually and naturally speaking. We loved filming this video and how it turned out as well. The energy we were able to create visually really matches the intensity of the song.”
While practicing self-isolation at home, John and Korey Cooper have performed acoustic versions of “Anchor” and “Whispers in the Dark” on their Instagram and can be seen by clicking here.
Skillet is scheduled to be at the Wisconsin State Fair on August 6th with Colton Dixon and Ledger.
