Sad news today as yet another tour has been postponed. Asking Alexandria have been forced to postpone their upcoming tour with Falling In Reverse, Wage War and Hyro the Hero. The tour was set to make a stop at the House of Blues in Chicago on May 30th. No new dates have been announced but tickets that have already been purchased will be honored for the new date. You can read and listen to Asking Alexandria’s full statement below.
At the beginning of March, Cutter and Kaytie spoke with Ben Bruce about the forthcoming new album and the newly released single “Antisocialist.” You can listen to that entire conversation HERE.
“I think ‘Antisocialist’ is the perfect first like legit single to introduce to the world with this record. Because like you just said this is our sixth album. We’ve been through the trenches and back, we’ve had highs, we’ve had lows. And, ya know, the more even I’m talking about it now, and thinking back on our journey, the more you start to realize well everyone, every single person on this planet has a very similar story. Everyone has ups, everyone has downs, whether its in their career or their personal life, its just a very human thing. And eventually you just kind of get sick of the downs and realize ‘this is my life. I’m in control. Fuck everybody else. Fuck what they think. I don’t care anymore. I don’t even like you.’”
While the band has been forced to put a hold on the hard copy release of the new album, Like A House on Fire will be available on all streaming platforms on May 15th.
