An Oshkosh Democrat thinks the rest of the state’s elections this year should be done by mail.
Assembly Minority Leader Gordon Hintz is working on a bill to have the state send every registered voter in Wisconsin a ballot. He’s asking lawmakers to take it up quickly, since there’s a special election in northern Wisconsin next month.
Hintz opposed holding the in-person election on Tuesday. He never received the absentee ballot he requested, and he decided not to vote in-person because of the “safer at home” order.
It’s unlikely that Majority Republicans in the Legislature will consider the bill.
